OLP Geo-caching competition! - Sun, 1 Jun 2014 (All day) to Mon, 30 Jun 2014 (All day)

Family Friendly Event

The aim of Geo-caching is to use GPS-enabled devices to follow clues and discover caches (i.e. containers) hidden in the environment.

Last year the Ochils Landscape Partnership created a Geo-caching trail in the Woodland Park. This year we have installed a new Geo-caching trail in Alva Glen. We are also running a Geo-caching competition during June, with fantastic prizes to be won. Thanks to the kind folks at Trespass at Sterling Mills, we have vouchers, water bottles, compasses, head torches and much more!

To help you get started we are hosting an Introduction to Geo-caching session on Sunday 1 June. Don't worry if you don't have a GPS device or Smartphone as we have created a paper-based trail too - you can choose which one to do.

Come and discover our unique caches and create your very own outdoor adventure!
