Ochils Woodland Park: path maintenance and vegetation clearance - Mon, 8 Sep 2014 - 11:00 to 15:00

With the combination of all the sun and occasional showers we've been having lately the plants have been growing like crazy! Come and join us and the Ochils Woodland Park over the 8 and 9 September to help us clear back some of the vegetation, mostly nettles and thistles (don't worry we'll bring gloves!), from the path edges and make this beautiful area a wee bit more accessible. Also some of the steps and paths in the park could benefit from a bit of TLC, so we'll try and scrape off some of the dead leaves and mud to stop it turning boggy over winter and perhaps top up some of the steps with gravel while were at it.

The meeting point for this event is in the park's car park and we will provide tea, coffee, biscuits and all the tools so all you need to bring is a packed lunch and some stout footwear/waterproofs.
