Alva Glen- Take down a wall and gather some stones. - Mon, 30 Mar 2015 - 10:30 to 15:30

Whilst the title of this event may seem a bit nonsensical there is method in the madness! To prepare for our two days of volunteer training in dry stone walling on the 14th and 15th of April we first need to take down what remains of the existing, rather worse for wear, wall that is going to be rebuilt. On top of this we will also need to coolect a sizable stash of stones to be used in the rebuild these we will gather from around the glen and most likely some from the burn as well.

So if you fancy lending a hand lugging some stone around in order to get us ready for the volunteer training please do come along. Also to add some extra incentive it will be my last volunteer event as Volunteer Development Officer for the OLP so there is a distinct possibility of cake being involved!
