Dollar has developed in a different way to the other Hillfoots towns and villages… and it's all due to Dollar Academy. Come and see the tiny Session House where the momentous decision to build 'McNabb's School' was taken, the Old Kirk which replaced the medieval church in 1775 and the graves of teachers, farmers and many more who helped to shape the Dollar we know today.

Bring warm clothing and sensible footwear: even if the weather is warm and dry it can still get cold in the kirkyard and the grass may still be wet. The tour will last about 90 minutes.
