Sprucing up the benchs at Dollar - Tue, 16 Sep 2014 - 11:00 to 15:00
The Benches on the Dollar section Hillfoot way, a popular rest stop for tired walkers and those just wanting to watch a game at the rugby club, are looking a little worse for wear. So we'd like to go along and give them a new lease of life, a good sand and a fresh coat of paint will have them looking brand new and hopefully keeping the wood from getting damp.
It's not the most exciting job but it's something that will make a real difference so if you fancy coming along please get in touch with me at BBlack@clacks.gov.uk.

The meeting point for this event at the corner of Thornbank road and Back road behind the Dollar academy rugby club. We will provide tea, coffee, biscuits and all the tools so all you need to bring is a packed lunch and some clothing suitable to paint in.

As this event is highly weather dependent (If it is wet we will not be able to sand the benchs or paint them) if you would like to come along could you could please contact me by email first at BBlack@clacks.gov.uk. This is simply to ensure that if I have to cancel and re-schedule the day I can get in touch with everyone and not leave any standing out in the rain waiting for the us to turn up!
