Dollar: Mill Green footpath repair - Fri, 28 Nov 2014 - 11:00 to 15:00

This is what the path did look just after construction.

Last July the Ochils Landscape Partnership and it's wonderful volunteers created a new woodchip footpath leading towards, and running adjacent to, the burn in Mill Green. Unfortunately they did such a good job on the path that it's been so well used that it's now in need of a wee bit of a repair. The main problem is that the path is on a slope so the wood chippings do get lost downwards and kicked off to the side (accidentally I'm sure) leading to certain patches getting a bit bare. We will remedy this by installing a new timber edging to the path with a little bit of a lip to retain the wood chippings which we'll top up with fresh stuff while were it at it. So if you fancy come along and lending a hand to make sure that the path can continue to be enjoyed by everyone for a long time to come, then any help would be much appreciated!
