It was a cloudy day with sunny intervals and a light north-easterly wind blowing and approximately 19 C in temperature. The field was dry considering the rain we have had last week. There is a lot of greenery along the banks of the river with lots of Thistles and Fire Weed in abundance. Today I saw a lot of White Cabbage Butterflies and Bees. The river itself had it's usual murky appearance in the deeper areas.
